Here’s a really easy way to make XBMC open maximized automatically whenever you boot up your Windows 7 machine.
Make a shortcut to XBMC by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC, right click XBMC.exe and click Send to > Desktop.
Take the shortcut that was just placed on your desktop and put it in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (replace username with your account’s username)
Once you’ve put that shortcut in there, right click on it and go to Properties. Click the Shortcut tab, and we’re going to add an option to the “Target” field. Put
-fs -p at the end of the path, like so:
Now, XBMC will start up with every boot in maximized mode, making your HTPC experience even more seamless.
